Family Quest ("we", "us") is a chores-and-rewards app for families, operated by Zenwolf. This policy explains what information we collect, why, and how it's handled.
Information we collect
Account details you provide (name, email, password) for the parent who creates a family account; profiles for family members (name, role) that a parent adds; quest, completion, and reward activity within your family; and, optionally, a profile photo or a photo attached to a completed quest.
How we use it
Solely to run the app: authenticating sign-in, tracking quests/points/rewards within your family, sending account emails (invitations, password resets, email verification), and keeping your family's data separate from every other family's.
Children's privacy
Family Quest is designed for use by families with children under 13. A child never registers their own account — a parent creates and manages every child profile from their own account. We do not knowingly collect information directly from a child, and children's data is never used for advertising or shared with data brokers.
Third-party services
We use Amazon Web Services to run the app: Amazon Cognito for sign-in, Amazon S3 to store uploaded photos, and Amazon SES to send account emails. These providers process data on our behalf and do not use it for their own purposes.
No ads, no selling data
Family Quest has no advertising, no ad tracking, and we never sell or rent family data to anyone.
Data retention & deletion
We keep your family's data for as long as the account is active. To request deletion of your family's data, contact us using the details below.
Your rights
If you're in the EU/EEA, you have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data under GDPR. Contact us to exercise any of these rights.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes materially, we'll update the date above and, where appropriate, notify account holders by email.
